US-Bangla Adds a Second Airbus 330 to Fleet

A second large Airbus 330-300 has joined the US-Bangla fleet at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The Airbus landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, from Guangzhou, China at 5:30 am on April 6.

The newly added Airbus has 436 seats. The new aircraft was formally accepted by senior officials of US-Bangla Airlines.

As part of future plans with the new addition, Airbus will operate London, and Rome routes along with Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. At present Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, and Kuala Lumpur routes will be operated.

this new Airbus 330-300 joins the US-Bangla fleet as the 24th aircraft. Currently US-Bangla Airlines fleet consists of two Airbus 330-300, 9 Boeing 737-800, 10 ATR 72-600 and three Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

US-Bangla is currently the largest airline in Bangladesh considering the number of aircraft. The airline currently operates regular flights on all domestic routes including international routes to Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Guangzhou.
