Biman’s E-mail Service Has Been Started Again

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has launched an alternative e-mail service. It is the service related to the operational activities of the aircraft.

At the same time, the national flag carrier has requested not to spread misleading information about the temporary shutdown of the airline’s e-mail server.

Biman informed this information in a press release on Thursday (March 23). It is said that e-mail services have been launched through Microsoft Cloud Services.

According to the notification, last Saturday (March 18), some computers and servers of Biman Bangladesh Airlines were attacked by malware and immediately the suspected server was isolated and the e-mail service was stopped.

It further states that Biman Bangladesh Airlines is a Scheduled Organization under the Digital Security Act 2018, Section-15 under the Digital Security Act and taking the next necessary steps in light of the technical direction given by the Digital Security Agency.
