Chattogram Flights

Qatar Airways has announced seven new destinations, 11 route resumptions, and frequency increases on 35 routes. As a result, the carrier will begin operating flights to and from Chattogram on March 11, 2024.

Chattogram (Bangladesh), Juba (South Sudan), Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Lyon and Toulouse (France), Medan (Indonesia), and Trabzon are among the new routes that Qatar Airlines will run (Turkey).

Trabzon will be the first (on June 16, 2023) and Chattogram will be the last, according to Qatar Airlines, who added that these routes will be introduced throughout the year (March 11, 2024). The airline will begin operating flights to Medan on January 15, 2024, and Lyon on July 3, 2024.

During its participation at ITB Berlin 2023, Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Qatar Airways Group, announced that the airline will add over 655 weekly flights to its summer 2023 schedule compared to 2022. By July 2023, Qatar Airways will offer 655 more frequencies, or a 21% increase in total flights, compared to the same month in 2022.

“We are excited to offer more ways of bringing the world together, increasing connectivity, and bridging gaps within the travel industry. As we expand our fleet, network, partnerships, and international presence, we look forward to working together to deliver sustainable growth and a compelling future for the industry,” said Akbar Al Baker.

Qatar Airlines has gradually resumed the majority of its pre-epidemic map route after a protracted interruption brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Middle Eastern airline declared on March 7 that it will resume flights to 11 locations.

Beijing, in China; Birmingham, in the United Kingdom; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Casablanca and Marrakech, Morocco; Davao, in the Philippines; Nice, in France; Osaka and Tokyo Haneda, Japan; Phnom Penh, in Cambodia; and Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Doha-Beijing will be the first route to resume, beginning on March 26. On April 1, Qatar Airlines will resume service to Davao; on May 9, Nice; on June 1, Tokyo Haneda; on July 10, Birmingham; on October 29, Phnom Pen; on November 1, Ras Al Haima; on December 8; and on March 1, 2024, Osaka.

By the end of March 2024, Qatar Airways will offer a total of 174 destinations, the airline said during its presentation in Berlin.

Also, Qatar Airlines said that in 2023, there would be more frequent flights to 35 different locations across the world.

London Heathrow and London Gatwick, which will increase from 42 and seven weekly frequencies to 45 and 14, respectively, are two of the more intriguing destinations. Moreover, Qatar Airlines will expand frequency to numerous other destinations, including Denpasar (14 to 21), Phuket (14 to 14), and Edinburg (1 to 14).
