Air Astra Saidpur Flight from 14 May

The country’s new private airline Air Astra will operate 2 flights per day on the Dhaka-Saidpur-Dhaka route from May 14.

The minimum one-way fare from Dhaka and Saidpur has been fixed at Tk 3490 inclusive of tax.

After Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet, Saidpur, the northernmost destination of Bangladesh, is an important destination for Air Astra. Air Astra started operating flights to Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar on November 24 last year and to Sylhet on February 23 last year. The flights are scheduled keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. Air Astra will operate flights from Dhaka at 2:10 PM and 8:00 PM respectively and from Saidpur at 3:40 PM and 9:30 PM respectively.

Air Astra CEO Imran Asif said Saidpur is one of the most important domestic routes. Air Astra will operate more flights on this route soon, though it has started operating two daily flights to Saidpur now. The airline currently has three ATR 72-600 aircraft in its fleet.
