Royal Tulip is Starting Cruise to Sundarbans

In addition to the hotel business, the Royal Tulip is going to launch cruises for tourists. This ship will run on Khulna-Sundarbans-Khulna route. The company is joining the new business keeping in mind the domestic and foreign tourists who are thirsty for travelling to Sundarbans. The company is buying two cruise ships for this purpose.

From next month, Royal Tulip will launch two ships commercially on the Khulna-Sundarbans-Khulna route under a package tour. Listed on the stock exchange, the company gave this information to the investors on Thursday. The information was published on the websites of two stock exchanges in the country. There are plans to invest more in the future step by step depending on the state of the business.

Known as the Royal Tulip at Inani in Cox’s Bazar, it is owned by Sea Pearl Beach Resort and Spa. The company was listed on the stock market in 2016 under this name.

The company’s chief financial officer (CFO) Julhas Biswas said, “Gradually, we want to be involved in all sectors of the tourism business. As part of this, two ships are being launched to take tourists around the Sundarbans.

You can go inside the Sundarbans for six months from October to April. Initially, we will have a two-night, three-day package tour. For the remaining six months, there will be arrangements to visit a part of the Sundarbans every day. Because at that time it was not allowed to enter the Sundarbans.”

At present 29 cruise ships of different quality are operating on the Khulna-Sundarbans-Khulna route.
