The Home Ministry on July 8 sent a letter to Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry and Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, helping them to remember the suspension of on-appearance visas.
Following the Covid pandemic, visa on-appearance to Bangladesh had been shut since June 2020. However, numerous outsiders are as yet showing up at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and applying for on-appearance visas.
This has prompted a bother for the two players that the home service might want to settle. Hence, they reminded CAAB and the common aeronautics service in a letter expressing “just unfamiliar financial backers and money managers working in Bangladesh are qualified for the on-appearance visas presently”.
To forestall Covid-19 disease, the public authority originally declared the suspension of on-appearance visas in Bangladesh from March 15 to March 31 last year.
Later in June, last year, term of the suspension was reached out for an endless period, authorities at HSIA said. Nonetheless, issuance of on-appearance visa proceeded for just unfamiliar financial backers and money manager.
Authorities of HSIA said they got guidance from the Home Ministry to maintain the continuous suspension of visa on appearance for unfamiliar nationals.
