Domestic flights across Bangladesh resume from July 15

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has introduced to resume domestic flights on seven routes throughout the country from July 15 until July 23 because the country lifts strict lockdown from the same day.

On July 13, the authorities determined to boost the continuing strict lockdown for 9 days beforehand of Eid-ul-Azha.

However, after Eid holidays, a strict national 14-day lockdown could be enforced once more from July 23 until August five as coronavirus instances hold growing withinside the country.
Thus, CAAB will once more droop flights from July 23 to August five. Nevertheless, currently, 3 nearby airways have been introduced to resume schedule passenger flights on home routes from July 15.

Biman will perform 3 flights every to Chattogram and Sairpur, every to Cox’s Bazar, Jashore and Sylhet and one every to Rajshahi and Barishal.

US-Bangla will operate 5 each day flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, flights to Cox’s Bazar, seven to Saidpur, six to Jashore, and 4 every to Sylhet, Barishal, and Rajshahi.

Lastly, NOVOAIR will operate six day by day flights every to Chattogram, Saidpur, and Jashore, 4 to Barishal, 3 every to Sylhet and Rajshahi, and to Cox’s Bazar.

However, none of them said they would increase any flight frequency. It relies upon at the passenger demand which is yet to see, said all 3 domestic airways
