Two Flights of Dhaka Landed in Sylhet Due to Dense Fog

Due to dense fog, flight operations have been disrupted. Due to this, two flights landed at Sylhet airport without being able to land at the specified destination.

The Director of Osmani International Airport Hafiz Ahmad confirmed this information.

Two flights landed at Sylhet Osmani International Airport between 7.30 am and 8.30 am on Tuesday (21 February).

Then both flights left Sylhet for Dhaka by 10 am.

Director of Osmani International Airport. Hafiz Ahmad said that due to thick fog, two US Bengal flights from Kuala Lumpur and Sharjah could not land at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and landed at Sylhet Osmani International Airport. Then the flights left Sylhet for Dhaka by 10 am.

According to US Bangla Airlines sources, two flights arrived from Sharjah to Sylhet with 103 passengers from Kuala Lumpur at 7:30 am and 144 passengers at 8:20 am. Later, between 9:30 am and 10:00 am, two flights took off towards Dhaka.
