US-Bangla Airlines, the country’s leading private airline, has recently announced the addition of two Airbus A330 aircraft of the new generation to its already first-rate fleet.
These new additions will bring the total number of aircraft in the US-Bangla Fleet to 17. The new aircraft can accommodate a total of 436 passengers. The introduction of these aircraft to the company’s fleet took place back in May of 2022.
The company made an announcement via a press release sent to the media on January 9 2023 (Monday), that the newly added A330 aircraft will operate flights on Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam routes.
US-Bangla Airlines also stated its long-awaited plans to operate flights to various destinations in Saudi Arabia to fulfil the requests of Bangladeshi Hajj-Umrah passengers and expatriate workers.
At present, the total number of aircraft in the US-Bangla fleet is 17, and this impressive number includes 7 Boeing 737-800, 7 ATR 72-600 and 3 Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.
The company further claimed through the press release that, This month (January), US-Bangla airlines will add one more ATR 72-600 and one more Boeing 737-800 aircraft to further strengthen the fleet.
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines is operating domestic flights to Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Jessore, Syedpur, Rajshahi, Barisal and some international destinations including Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Muscat, Doha, Sharjah, Dubai.
US-Bangla Airlines was first established back in 2010 with Hazrat Shahjalal Airport as its primary hub. Over the past 12 years, it has brought about many changes and improvements in the aviation industry of Bangladesh and is planning for further developments in the future as well.
