A meeting was held between the new committee of ATAB, the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh, and CAAB, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, at the Civil Aviation Office on Thursday, May 16. Various important issues in the aviation sector were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting was led by President Abdus Salam Aref on behalf of ATAB and Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md. Mofidur Rahman on behalf of CAAB, the Civil Aviation Authority.
The Chairman of Civil Aviation praised the new leadership of ATAB and assured to cooperate with ATAB in any work of ATAB to solve the problems of ATAB members and if there is any irregularity of the airlines operating in the country, he expressed his determination to work together with ATAB by formulating sound policies.
The President of ATAB stated in his speech, that ATAB leaders will work to develop modern yet contemporary, and smart systems for the development of the country’s aviation and tourism sector by cooperating with the government and maintaining good relations.
