Jin Air, a South Korean low-cost airline, has announced it will be operating flights to Bangladesh. They will operate the first flight from Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport to Seoul Incheon International Airport on Monday, October 23. The airline has announced one scheduled flight per week.
According to an airline source, Jin Air will primarily operate one flight to Dhaka every Monday. In the future, this number will increase to three flights per week.
The one-way ticket fare on this route is BDT 70,000/-, and the return fare is BDT 91,000/-. On these Dhaka-Incheon flights, passengers are allowed to bring two pieces of luggage weighing 23 kilos each; that is, they are allowed to bring 46 kilos in total.
The international flight schedule announcement website Arrowroots quoted Jin Air as saying that its flight LJ-702 will leave Dhaka Airport at 12:30 AM for Seoul and land at Incheon Airport at 7:15 AM.
The return flight from Incheon Airport, LJ-701, will depart on the same day at 5:30 p.m. local time and will arrive at Dhaka Airport at 9 p.m. Jin Air will operate flights on this route via Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
